Secretary required for Agricultural Contracting Business
in Berkshire

Shorts Agricultural Services Limited require a Farm Secretary for a busy agricultural contractor based in Winkfield, Berkshire.

Applicants must be highly motivated, have good communication skills and be an enthusiastic team player.  Practical experience or an understanding of agriculture is essential combined with good computer skills.

Duties to include: digital mapping, data inputting, record keeping, maintaining staff records, cross compliance, health and safety, general typing, ad hoc admin tasks  and the organising the delivery and spreading of our fertilizer products.

Knowledge of Microsoft software is essential.  Gatekeeper, Farmade and Patchwork software experience would be useful but not essential as training will be given.

Hours and salary are subject to negotiation.

Part Time Farm Secretary required nr. Brighton, Sussex 

A medium sized family farm requires a part time experienced secretary to work for 1 day per week initially on a sheep and arable farm.

Duties to include regular accurate inputting of crop and flock records into Gatekeeper and Flock manager (by Farmplan).

Irregular updating of records for farm assurance, NVZ, soil reviews and other cross compliance demands.

In addition some work with Key Accounts (by Landmark) will be included, along with typing, filing and other general admin tasks.

Knowledge of key accounts and gatekeeper is preferred, training can be supplied for flock manager..
