IAgSA Attends Isle of Wight Ploughing Match
Following our successful open house at the end of April, we took a tent at the Isle of Wight Ploughing Match on Saturday, 19th September at Atherfield Farm on the south coast of the Island. We shared it wih the newly formed Isle of Wight branch of the Ford & Fordson Association, who offered tractor/trailer rides around the match and carried our banner along one side. The Isle of Wight Branch of the CLA were alongside us and gave us great support with our new stand. We hope this will then become an annual event.
We also hope that this presence will give support to our first arranged training day on Wednesday, 23rd September. So far we have bookings from nine Isle of Wight delegates and ten Thames and Test members. The programme will comprise "Rural Business Accounts" and "How to Keep Your Accountancy Bills Down" in the morning and a boat trip or a tour of the offshore lifeboat in the afternoon.
